Oh, take heart. Lots of people struggle with figuring out gifts for people. Here's a suggestion: take notes! When someone says "oh I love that" or "geeze I want that" make a note.I've done this for a long time and it really works.Especially for movies, books, etc.
I also understand the worry about money at this time of year.We've had really "lean" years where we had to cut down, so decided we had to make something for each other. That's a hoot, and ALMOST more fun than something fancy and expensive.!
